I am an Oregon native, born and raised in the Portland metro area. I attended Willamette University in Salem, OR where I studied economics and played football for 4 years as an all-conference defensive lineman. Upon graduating, I decided to pursue my MBA from the Atkinson Graduate School of Management with a focus in finance. I began my career as a financial advisor with Northwestern Mutual through the internship program in May of 2012, where I worked full time for a summer, and then returned to school to finish my degree while working on a part-time basis. I accepted a full time position at Northwestern Mutual in Portland, OR in June of 2013. Shortly after, I partnered with my wife, Polly, to further grow our financial advising practice. In 2015, I accepted the role of Growth and Development Director and began building a team and developing other financial advisors. Currently, our team is recognized both regionally and nationally across the country for our achievements and dedication to client service.

I hired Scott with Coachwell in April of 2015, when I was in the middle of preparing for a wedding, expanding my staff, just purchased a home, and was beginning to feel overwhelmed and that I had lost control of life in general. With the help of Scott over the last year and a half, I have been able to successfully navigate balancing my home life with owning a business, as well as prepare for the birth of my daughter, Madeline, in April of 2016. If it was not for the guidance of Scott, as well as the organizational skills that I have developed from working with him, I would not be where I am today from either a personal or business standpoint. I have been successfully executing my ideal calendar, and even though there is going to be unforeseen challenges every day, I have more control over the direction of my day and am going about my life with intentionality.
